  111. \b0\fs28 is a rewrite of a program I originally wrote for version 1.0A of the NeXT operating system.  This program works with Workspace and the EMACS server, originally written by Bill Sommerfield at MIT, to make EMACS edit files when you double-click on them in Workspace.\
  112. To use the Emacs Listener, you will need to insert the following lines into your
  113. \b ~/.emacs
  114. \b0  file:\
  115. \pard\tx960\tx1920\tx2880\tx3840\tx4800\tx5760\tx6720\tx7680\tx8640\tx9600\f1
  116. \pard (load-library "server")\
  117.            (server-start)\
  118. \f0 Once you have done that, place the
  119. \b EL2
  120. \b0  program into your
  121. \b /LocalApps
  122. \b0  directory, run it, and click
  123. \b install
  124. \b0  in the
  125. \b Prefs
  126. \b0  window.  If you want the regular Edit behavior back, click
  127. \b uninstall
  128. \b0 .\
  129. Well, that's all there is to it.  If you have any questions, you can probably answer them by looking at the source-code.  \
